Since the release of his first film, Ranbir has gone from one big banner to another - Yashraj Films (Bachna Ae Haseeno), Karan Johar (Wake Up, Sid), Raj Kumar Santoshi (Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani) and Prakash Jha (Rajneeti).
And now, Mani Ratnam has approached Ranbir for a film that he will make after the Abhishek-Aishwarya-Govinda starrer, Ravan.
Says a source, “Mani Ratnam saw Ranbir in Saawariya and thought of him for a film that he wants to make. The actor fits into the part perfectly.”
However, at the moment, Mani isn’t in the mood to divulge what kind of project he has cast Ranbir in.
