And there are even speculations about Kat profiting career wise from her superstar boyfriend. But has just a few-years old heroine overshadowed the superstar of Bollywood? This seems to reflect so clearly in the new promotion posters that feature Katrina prominently – and lead actor Salman seen nowhere!The publicity campaign for Yuvraj is in full swing in Mumbai, but the most striking thing is Salman’s conspicuous absence from its posters and hoardings. Salman plays the lead role in the movie, but Katrina, who plays the main musician in the movie, is all over the publicity material.
When asked about this peculiar omission, Katrina clarified that her picture on the posters is everyone’s favourite in the crew, even Sallu’s. But Subhash Ghai had a different story to tell. He stressed that the publicity material for the movie is in sync with the music release, and Kat is the leading musician in the flicks, so this explains the overshadowing presence of Katrina everywhere.
Though director Ghai has rubbished the possibility of Katrina having grown into a greater star phenomenon than apna Sallu, but what is visible sure beats all clarifications. To see is to believe, then should we?
