It seems that comparisons with Shah Rukh Khan won’t leave Shahid Kapur ever. After trying oh-so-hard to carve a niche for himself in the big bad world of Bollywood and struggling for long to come out of the shadow of favourite actor SRK, Shahid is miserable at being compared with the King Khan yet again.
Kapur got a shock of his life when a few days back while switching channels he came across one of the promos of his forthcoming film “Paathshala” (directed by Ahmed Khan), which ran with a not so flattering statement that said “Shahid Banne Chala Shah Rukh”. The Kapur lad’s anger knew no bounds and he immediately called up Ahmed Khan and ordered him to stop such irritating teasers and also ensure that no such thing happens in future.
According to reports, if there is one thing that a usually chilled out Shahid can’t is comparison with a certain somebody and especially the one with SRK makes him lose his cool entirely as he wants to be known in his own right.
It is believed that Shahid is portraying a role of a teacher in the movie in question and hence the comparisons. Guess that time has come when Shahid sheds off his SRK inspiration completely or else the mouths won’t stop blabbering!
