Preity Zinta has turned to be the favorite Punjabi-girl of Bollywood. Recently, the actress leaped with laurels as a Punjabi girl in 'Heroes'. Style of articulating dialogues in Punjabi style could fix us adhered to the characterization. And now, it's time to take on with a role with different dimension. Deepa Mehta's recent movie 'Heaven and Earth' was screened at Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival in New York. The film features Preity Zinta as a woman belonging immigrant family in Toronto.

"While penning script for Heaven and Earth, I remember I was there in England. As I met Preity Zinta we started discussing about many issues, but not about my film. Out of spark, I could just perceive that she has the ability to perform the role with extreme brightness".
