There are loads of expectations from your next release Love Story 2050, are you under pressure?
Of course, I am. I feel the pressure all the time. Wouldn’t you feel nervous if you went to interview Mr Bachchan despite doing this job for a long time? Similarly even I get nervous, every film of mine takes so much effort. It’s no wonder now that I am so stressed… I am also losing weight. It’s so scary.
Do you believe in love stories?
I am a complete romantic. I cry at the drop of a hat. In fact, I am an agony aunt to all my girlfriends. I am constantly giving them advice on their boyfriends.
Do you follow the same advice when it comes to your own love?
It’s very difficult to follow my own advice because you can’t be objective about yourself. That’s why I guess it’s called the hypocrisy of love.
How do you switch off when you get home. What are dinner table conversations like?
Most of our conversations revolve around my brother. What he did in school, when are his exams. Normally we pick on that poor bechara or my next question is khane mein kya bana hain? or aaj ka lunch achha nahin tha, so what will you send in my dabba tomorrow. If not that, then even my dad is working on an album so I discuss the progress on that. And I speak about some dangerous surgery that he may have done during the day. I switch off by hanging out with my family.
Most of Bollywood is going online, how about you?
Oh yeah of course! I find the whole idea of blogging so cool! I would love to be able to connect with my fans, but my big question is where do these people find the time? Here in Filmcity, phone ka connection hi nahin milta, so does one log on?
But have you ever searched for yourself online?
Oh yeah so many times, I wouldn’t lie, I have done it. Not only Googled my name but I have also logged on to You Tube. In case I have performed anywhere or missed a review, I search for the videos on the You Tube.
