Coming Soon - Michael Jackson: The Movie

Sony Pictures is in talks to make a feature film using the 80 hours of Michael Jackson's rehearsal footage prepping for his performance in London.
The studio is expected to pay upwards of $50 million for global rights to AEG Entertainment, the owners of the footage. The film will feature at least three videos that were to be used as vignettes during the London shows, including a 3-D version of Thriller. High School Musical director Kenny Ortega, who also shot the rehearsal footage and was helming the concert, is expected to direct the feature in hopes of releasing it before the end of the year.
Meanwhile the events past Jacko's death get murkier and murkier as it was revealed that his business manager, Dr. Tohme, had once filed for bankruptcy himself. Not much is known about the Lebanese mystery friend and employee of MJ, but documents have surfaced showing that the doctor turned celebrity business manager first tried his hand at being a real estate agent and had to file for bankruptcy due to a botched deal. Afterwards, he attempted to fight the courts to keep the information private.
A source says: "He didn't want to reveal certain types of information. He lost." Jackson's in-house doctor believes that he's become the "scapegoat" for Michael's death and wants the public to know he didn't kill the late King of Pop!
Says Dr. Murray: "I did not give Michael anything that should have led to his death. I do not know anything more than anyone else about what killed Michael - but it wasn't me."
